Description:

Two people were killed and 28 injured in a bus crash in the Stavropol territory, a source from the local traffic police service reported. "It has been determined tentatively that the crash could have happened because the bus driver had fallen asleep. Therefore the bus swerved to the roadside ditch," the source said. The Emergency Situations Ministry department for the Stavropol territory said that at least 28 people were injured and needed medical aid. "Twenty-eight people are at the hospital now; eighteen of them have been hospitalized and the other ten provided with outpatient treatment. Among those hospitalized are three children, one of them in serious condition," it said. The bus was heading from Anapa to Nalchik.
