Description:
At least four children in the same family died and 10 others, including their parents, were injured in the crash of their passenger bus in southern Somalia, witnesses said Monday. Locals said the accident took place in the village of Mohammed Sa’id about 20 kilometers from the Adale district in the Middle Shabelle region. Mohammed Harbi Farah, who survived the fatal incident, told a local radio station the driver failed to control the bus after turning off the way and that caused the mishap. Farah said all the injured were taken to a hospital in Jowhar about 90 kilometers north of Somalia’s capital Mogadishu, revealing that seven of the injured were in serious conditions. The bus, which left from Mogadishu, was heading to the Harardhere district in the Mudug region.
