Description:

At least 20 passengers died when their ship sank Wednesday in Lake Kivu, eastern Rwanda, PANA learnt from official sources here on Thursday. The sources said there were 60 passengers on the ship. Victims included six children. The passengers were going to Nyamunini, an Island of the Lake Kivu, where a cere mony commemorating the 16th anniversary of the Tutsis' genocide was due to be held.
