The current 10 dollar bill actually tells the story quite clearly. Alexander Hamilton is facing the Fed Reserve side of the bill (and closer to the fed side). He holds in his hand a very large liberty torch but it is not complete. Alex looks very content in the photo. Also you’ll notice on the American side we have a very small liberty” torch which means our liberties are shrinking but it is bold and complete. America has always been in a power struggle with Central banks.

@Deciblaster the government passed laws forcing banks to make loans to low income people that really shouldn’t have got them, then people blame the banks when the low income people take advantage of these bad loans and default?
part of the dodd/frank bill was to cover the losses if it went wrong, blame the politicians, not the free markets/banks. banks would not have made the loans if they were the ones holding the risk.= no housing bubble.

@phantomcharger that one is fresh water..I just have river rock stacked, kinda looks like coral…But anyway…I did the same you do..But you must be ale to notice by now…people in this country, for the most part, do not read contracts, do not read regulations or anything…This, to me, means that someone needs to make sure they get this info one way or another, otherwise a legitimate sale should be abandoned by seller OR buyer….

@phantomcharger And that stuff is not basic math…Just a question, do you own a home yet? Because it is a huge jumble of nonsense that they throw at you and tell you to sign. I had multiple problems with my loan because my lender kept trying to switch to a new bank without telling me among a slew of other things I would have considered shady…And just for the record…I’ m an avid supporter and volunteer in Indiana for The good Dr.!

banks don’t control any of this, and if politicians are selling the control, why don’t you get involved in elections, and help an honest man like Ron Paul?

@phantomcharger And never mind those who hung an affordable loan in front of someone who really needed a home. Never being properly educated about buying a home..things like “fixed rate interest”… Then they let them get moved in and comfy for a year or two and then jack up the interest rates until they can’t afford it…Pay back the minescule amount it actually took to pay for the house and then take the house back…then sell it to another sucker…They’re to blame but so are the banks…
