brilliant interview, the idea that pausing cannabis use leads to intensified dream experiences is something I have definitely experienced. Always blows my mind, and seems to speak directly to my interests.

@LiberaLib I think anxiety really has a big effect. When I was young I had no fear, so I had a real banzai attitude. Conversely, if one has a fear of the effect(as in the first time) it can get in the way of the buzz. We’re born with cannabis receptors in the brain so i can’t see a biological reason why people won’t get stoned. I think guilt might play a big part too. Anyway, I need to go and score. @vubear once in high school i got a friend high for the first time, and i just forced him to smoke bowl after bowl until he said “hell yeah” instead of “i think so” every time i asked him whether he was feeling anything. i’ve got friends who STILL say all it does is make them fall asleep.

anyway, it’s definitely working NOW. lol.

you never really get high the first time, at least that’s my experience.
