Suppose That Planet X Had a Mass Exactly the Same as Planet Earth.?
BySuppose that planet X had a mass exactly the same as planet Earth. A person weighs 884 N on Earth. What would be the mass (in kg) of the 884-N person on planet X if its radius were 2.23 times greater than that of planet Earth?

The mass is independent of the force of gravity so m = W/g = 884N/9.8m/s^2 = 90.2kg
However on planet X the person’s weight would be 1/(2.23)^2 that of Earth = 884/2.23^2 = 178N
