Sheikh Imran Hosein was born in the Caribbean island of Trinidad in 1942 from parents whose ancestors had migrated as indentured labourer from India. He is a graduate of the Aleemiyah Institute in Karachi and has studied at sevaral instutions of higher learning including the University of Karachi,the University of the West Indies, Al Azhar University and the Graduate Institute of International Relations in Switzerland. And he has also written more than a dozen books on Islam that have invariably been received with public respect. Indeed, ‘Jerusalem in the Qur’an – An Islamic View of the Destiny of Jerusalem’ has become a best seller and has been translated and published in several languages.

Mashallah, a very learned scholar. Being Pakistani, also proud that his first educational journey started in Pakistan. I ve propogated his lectures to the new generation of Pakistan starting from my own family. May Allah give long life n I itend to meet him on ny journeys inshallah.

@khairulazmidotcom Walaykum Asalam , if we do go to the country side , we would still have some contact with the modern city as the example the young men in sura alkhaf , they sent one of them to the city to bring them the best food they find indicating that the food in the cities is going to be corrupt, and also for other business transactions – i hope I helped

Can you please add in Malay subtitle for other non English speaking listeners? I do not wish to misinterpret, what Sheikh has been delivering through these worthy messages/lectures, to my parents.

No doubt at all that i have benefited so much from Salafi brothers with their teachings. There is also another branch of Knowledge/Methodology which i have now understood (Alhamdulillah) from Shiekh.
Kindly make a request to Sheikh to give the lectures on below topics.
1) Innovation and its Rulings.
2) Tawassul (intercession / Wasela) and its legal rulings.

Thank you for your reply. I’m glad that Sheikh will talk about the very important topic regarding the “Soul and the Growth of Soul”.
We would also like to hear from Sheikh about the definition of Innovation(Bidah) and what are the rulings. Here in Saudi Arabia our Salafi Brothers they reject anything which did not come from Quran and Sunnah and interpret the text literary .

@jaweedpatel He has given a topic on the soul. He was giving the tafsir of Suratul Noor. I cried because it was beautiful. He said the “salaafi” movement as the people who interpret the text literary why would he want to do that type of methodology. This is one of the ways that Allah will make this religion prosper because of the methodology he uses.

Scholars of Islam are out of touch with modern world of knowledge…how true is that statement. That is not how it was during the great Islamic empires. This is a unusual new dark era.

JazakAllah brother icemaker for uploading this lecture. it has been annoying me and i am sure many others that we have lecture on this subject but in a real poor quality that annoys us alot that we cannot understand it.

Can somebody ask Sheikh Imran to give a lecture on below topic.
1) Growth of Soul ( This was done before but not good quality)
2) Tawheed, Shirk, Kufar and Sin.(Difference between all with some good example to understand).
3) What is Tawassul (Waseela) and its legal rulings?
