This team is set up not only to look for asteroids but also outer solar system objects . She was very nervous talking about these new stars seemed to be getting to the point about these brown dwarfs

Did you notice that the guys to her left automatically look at the girl the very moment the caller says “planet x”, as if she’s the one been primed to answer this? Also, it’s highly likely she’s got an earpiece in (all tv presenters and guests do nowadays). Notice how she occasionally seems to take her answer in one direction, only to abruptly stop and start a new unrelated sentence. Our minds don’t work like that, she’s being told what to say.

My theory regarding the methodical order of discolusures is to convince us that binary stars with orbiting planets, and tightly packed orbiting planets are not uncommon in other solar systems, therefore we should not be afraid of Tyche (Planet X) when it is unveiled. To do this they must persuade us their “validation” techniques are indisputable. They even hired Lucas to animate Kepler 16.

It is the same message they tried to convey by changing the name of “Nemesis” to “Tyche”.

What i think is interesting is why they cant completely deny the excistence of planet X instead of giving the caller a simple no. I belive that the caller and many of us wanted to see, and hear them, tell in detail that planet X is totally rubbish. And not give a “vague” answer like that. It just raises more questions.
