What about the fact that people are claiming the sun to be setting much further into the North than ever before? This seems to be the sign of a pole shift however most people are claiming these people are crazy or simply wrong, yet massive amount of people are noticing that the sun is rising and setting in different locations based on geographical markers they have watched for years, yet now there is a change?

@blkvicePU The rotational axis is based on the poles, so if the poles shift, the axis is going to shift as well.

this is the dumbest shit ever. The rotational axis doesnt change, and will not change. The Earth has a slight wobble tho called precession, hence the 23 degree tilt. The magnetic poles how ever have shifted several times in the history of the planet.

So, the final question to ask is, “after the pole shift, and after the new north celestial pole comes to around the bering strait, what would be the new axial tilt(given in degrees)?

Rammstein, I think this video answers what the new north celestial pole would be. This would be the geographic location of where the top part of the axis of rotation would be.
What we need to know is what the axial of tilt would be.
Go to the wikipedia, and see you’ll see what I mean by axial of title or “obliquity”.
Currently, our planet spins on an axis that tilts at 23.5 degrees. For those that don’t know , this tilt is why we have seasons.

In one of Cottrell’s readings, he said Siberia would be an ideal place to live. If the new north pole is somewhere around the Bering strait, I don’t see how Siberia could warm up to make it a better place.
The information we don’t have is what the new axial tilt relative to the earth’s orbit would be.

@stanmud69 I believe, from his wording here, that he’s talking about the rotational axis and not the magnetic pole shift

Just curious if you had asked about the magnetic pole shifting (which is already occurring) or the change in the Earth’s rotational axis which is expected to happen in the next few years? The latter would be much more of a radical change.

You can get the idea by playing with Google Earth …looks like almost no change in latitude for me.

but it looks like the ‘new’ north pole would be @ 1000-1500 miles away from the current one? It’s not as radical a change as I thought his answer would be
