What you must understand quickly : It must work without moving any part ( means bringing outside energy.. ), and guess what. It will never work.

Explanation in detail: First 2 facts.
Magnets are NOT batteries.
Magnetism is NOT energy, it’s a FORCE.
The energy that makes the centre magnet spin comes from the human moving the outer ring. The second that ring stops moving the spinning stops.
It takes MORE evergy to move the outer ring than what you would get from attaching a generator to the inner (spinning) magnet. The contraption does NOT generate more energy than what is put in.
That’s it. Nothing new or strange.

I’m not denying anything, the explaination for the video is simple:
It’s the result of the laws of thermodynamics in action.
I understand that you want there to be something more. But there are no hidden forces or energies in action here.
This phenomenon have been explained by newtonian physics for well over 50 years!
Your ignorant inability to accept that fact won’t change the outcome. There is nothing new to discover here! It’s ALL BEEN EXPLAINED! Get it now?

@kasmackba You miss the point. No one really knows if they are ‘laws’. Obviously *if* they are inviolet laws then they won’t change. What is more likely is they are approximations. On building plans and small maps we can assume the earth is flat, it’s like a law. When the map is enlarged we learn that it was not a law but an approximation and the earth is curved.
Right here on this video is something that needs investigating. Do you have an explaination or just a denial?

Erm, You’r missing the point.
The laws of physics won’t change just because we would like them to.
They are not subject to popular opinion or vote. They reign supreme regardless of human interaction.
Furthermore, the “experiment” in the video depicts an excellent example of the first law of thermodynamics. Known as the law of energy conservation.
Again: ALL magnetic pnenomena, INCLUDING this one, have been observed, catalogued and explained. There is nothing new here.

Assumptions galore.
If an experiment disproves a law, the law gets re-evaluated and changed accordingly. However, laws regarding anything that is:
a) An atom or larger
and
b) Moving slower than the speed of light.
Here, no new phenomena have been observed for over 50 years. These laws still stand today. Weither you like like to think otherwise or not.

Would we have predicted it? Ofcourse, lots of phenomenon have been predicted before observed. That’s basicly how natural science works. Lots of rather well known pnenomena were predicted long before observed or proven.

@kasmackba It looks like an easy one to replicate. I have seen other videos where people have made these and they spin like this. Not particularly practical but pretty convincing. Magnets available on ebay.

@kasmackba This is what you believe based on experiments that back it up. You believe them to be laws, you may be right, you may also be wrong. Perhaps we need to proceed as if the laws are not the whole truth, see what comes out.

@kasmackba They have been found to be laws due to experimentation. The way you are talking it seems that if an experiment were to disprove a law, then you would say the experiment was wrong. Fair enough, but then the experiment must be redone in another way to try an reveal the truth. Clearly something weird is going on in the above video that needs further investigation.

@kasmackba You are rather assuming that people know what these laws are. You are also assuming that the scope of the laws covers everything. You hear a drum when you hit it with a stick and yet you hear thunder a few seconds after you see lighting. We know why this is but would we have predicted this had we not experienced it?
