Planet X…. Is It Real? Is the Year 2012 Really Going to Be the End of the Life We Once Knew?

Yes, I have heard the 2012 theory. I don’t believe it, just think of how many people in the past have said that the world will end on such and such a date, and look at us, we are still here and going strong. If it is the end of the world, then there really wont be anything we can do to stop it, so i dont even think about it.

It looks like yahooanswers is going to have to add a seperate category for people who want to keep asking this.

The existence of a planet Nibiru is based on ancient Sumerian mythology. Sumerians used the word Nibiru for the planet Jupiter.

It is a fictitious story and is only being circulated as part of the 2012 disinformation end-of-the-world garbage. The people giving this information to you are sitting back and laughing at your gullability.

These lies are presented by New-Agers, occultists, apocalypse fear mongers, end-of-the-world propagandists, channelers, and fiction writers. Not from scientists. Take a closer look at the validity of your sources when gathering information. Especially from the internet. Even the most ludicrous of claims cannot be prevented or stopped in a free world. Some are not so innocent but are promulgated purposefully with the intention to deceive.

Research the claims and warnings of Mark Hazelwoods that Nibiru would be here in late spring or early summer of 2003. Now, it is being attached to 2012.

End of the world hype was only started in the last 5 years from persons trying to make a buck on the internet. If you want to go around making claims about the Mayan calendar predicting an end try October 12, 4772. The Mayan LongCount 13.0.0.0.0 translates to December 21, 2012. The next day will be 13.0.0.0.1. The “13″s position (called the “Baktuns”) can go as high as “19″. This business of the calendar “ending” is based solely on hysterical nonsense. December 20, 2012 will be 12.19.19.17.19 the next day will be 13.0.0.0.0 — its an odometer change, nothing more.

The LongCount number is a composite of Base 20 and Base 18 math and is very similar to the Julian Day Number used by astronomers today (2007.09.07). In fact, 19.19.19.17.19 equals October 12, 4772. The next day will be first use of the “Pictuns” position and will be written as: 1.0.0.0.0.0.

Apparently, armegeddonists and psychics wouldn’t get much attention if they started proclaiming October 12, 4772 as the end of the world so they picked 13 baktuns. What the hell do they care if what they print is false, by the time 2012 rolls around, they will have made their money.

hehehe what a crazy story. If they told me that we would all die in 2006,2007, 2008 I would believe that because President Bush is still in the power. But in 2012 he will be long gone and forgotten, which means there will be more peace in the wolrd, less wars, and hopefully more love. Other than Bush destroying our planet, there isn’t anyone or anything else that will do any harm to our planet.
