The successful invasion led to a change of government but was controversial due to charges of American imperialism, Cold War politics, the involvement of Cuba, the unstable state of the Grenadian government, and Grenada’s status as a Commonwealth realm. @gtonehimself Did you watch the video? He is quoting the British Prime Minister (1916-1922) David Lloyd George. Chomsky says this in the video. He uses the quote in order to illustrate the attitude of those in power. In the example, the Arab “democracies” or “fiefdoms” are free to operate under their own control as long as they follow the will of the British Empire. This is why a disarmament agreement would be unacceptable, because the BE “reserves the right to bomb the niggers.” U.S.=B.E.
