of course a massive object like sun affects the decay rates of radioactive materials, gravity has a tendency to distort time and it is most evident in quantum scale. All scientists discovered was a hint to graviton particle at best. most of this clip is bullshit or grossly bloating simple observations and data to make something seem scandalous.
