I have bout 6 car alternator for under half Euro a pice. I have opened them used the inner Core to build my own magnets and i have cleaned the stators and put every 2 together. Because one is to little if you ask me!?
Anyway….Half Done…:-)
@canelfno
i suggest the 9 blade rebel 800 watt turbine for PR. 3 blades are for 15 mph winds plus. i do not use or sell 6 blades.even number of blades don’t balance that’s why we went to 11 blades instead of 12
I need to know what will be the response of a 3 blade vs. 6 blade vs 9 blade vs. 12 blades, which one is best for what wind speed, I live in Puerto Rico with a wind normally between 3 an 10 MPH going to 20 and gusting higher. Thanks
jeff i like your works ,now if i can just dig up the money.. One thing i would add
to mine is your cooling fan. to be safe
and a bullit shaped nose cone to add
effiency even 1% is something.
i got a 30 foot tower section and 8ft pole
waiting..
Jeff can you post a video showing the wind speed and the amps/volts charging a set of batteries? I’d like to see what is really possible with your low wind speed kit.
I like your design a lot. Great video. I am from the Netherlands and I am looking around for information, one day I want to built my own generator. I was surprised to see how relative small the rotor is for the amount of power it can deliver, just awesome. Can you show us a bit more from the stator part and the coils you use?

Jeff, you are a super star for redesigning that spacer.
as you know the old type caused problems for me.
That new one looks perfect.
Great work.

Those blades look amazing. Good that you use a hub stabiliser too as even a quarter inch plate will flex to some degree.
