Magnetic Pole Shift Accelerating • NBC Nightly News • January 7th, 2011

Microsoft Nazi Broadcasting Company: Reports that Earth’s magnetic north pole (true north) is rapidly shifting – at a rate of 40 miles per year along the polar cap towards Russia. Airport runaways are being re-painted to reflect the change for navigation.

“It takes thousands of years for a pole to shift, if it were a drastic change the polarity of the planet would collapse, our atmosphere would break down and then have to “heal itself.” The completion of the polar shift will not happen in our lifetime. On top of the fact that the poles change practically every year apparently. They shift directions often but not to the extent of a complete flip.”

( cont’d ) Magnetosphere poleshifts come on average every 300,000 years. The last one occurred approximately 780, 000 years ago and Earth is currently undergoing one. Is there any indication to think this one will bring some type of devastation to Earth ? Absolutely not.

@Outbacker5 @Outbacker5 These are merely localized events. Research how the Earths magnetosphere goes wacky as it goes through the poleshift process ( which take thousands of years to complete ) and you will find that during this process there will be both strong and weak magnetic North & South pole fluctuations all around the globe.

the question I have is this, my compass and my friends compass on his Ipod, both say north is where it always has been, and yet shouldn’t they read differently? I am aware of the shift becasue even though I live in edmonton the sun set in the northwest 2 days ago, so the earth has moved but the compasses still say they haven’t

and people need to look up the definition of conspiracy, it has nothing to do with people who do research that proves the government is corrupt, or that these things are going to happen!!!! the word “conspiricy” has nothing to do with people who become aware of the evil going on around them! even as things get worse and the world changes faster, people still claim were nuts because we tell them before something happens, and then it happens. sheeple people of the world!!!

@DENISPAVONZ1973 i believe it is moving much faster then they are telling us….they also are not telling of the danger of comet elening which will be passing just in front of us in october! if they knew something big, such as an extinction level event occuring, do u honestly believe they would tell everyone??? do some research, even go to nasa website and u will find that elenin does exist and will be comming super close, and could hit, and the least will be debris if it does miss us

ONLY 3 or 4 DEGREES! Geez that doesn’t sound like much now does it, particularly when thinking in terms of a simple protractor. Well, I don’t understand what all the hoopla is about! I mean its just a few degrees right? Yea, those people are crazy!
Hmmmm… On second though, what if we applied that measly 3 or 4 degrees to the Earth, maybe, just maybe 3 OR 4 DEGREES IS A BIG F’ING DEAL WHEN YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT THE 24,901 MILE CIRCUMFERENCE OF THE EARTH!
Naah, its nothing to worry about.

@CynosuralTheory Luckly I don’t think we have to worry about being baked by a solar flare .. we are hit with solar flares all the time do you feel anything when this happens?? The Northren lights are what happens when a solar flare hits earth … and if a big one comes the only thing that’s in trouble is our electronics .. which is about everything we have … So don’t worry about being baked what you gotta worry about is how your going to look up porn after 2012 … HA

@DENISPAVONZ1973 People who deal with compasses know that the poles are never exactly in the same spot .. the poles can shift a couple degrees .. not like this tho this is new .. the poles have very slight circle motion that changes just a couple of degrees they are not fixed at a single spot .. I guess that’s why pilots knew about pole shifting …

this happens all the time, they say, but don’t see them changing the runway numbers every year, then again this is the first time, since the wright brothers flown, but like they say, this happens all the time.
