If you believe that an astronomical catastrophe is going to happen on December 21st 2012, please talk to an amateur astronomer, science teacher or a professional astronomer.

Also I believe that the Mayans celebrated the end of their calendar cycles as a time of rejoycing, just as we do when our yearly calendar ends. The world didn’t end each time the Mayan calendar ended did it?

@MatrixFactoryGuy Unfortuantely, you are both wrong. No science proves the earth’s rotation will reverse. However, the magnetic poles are due for reversal very soon, to the point where we expect it to happen any minute from here to 2015. The earth will absolutely be aligned with the galaxy, but not on the exact date described.
