@pshinspections

I’m not American, but one can wish.

2

That is why I said American.

3

@christo930

More people were killed or sickened by Chernobyl, even decades later, than all coal accidents combined.

4

Wrong dummy, read my comment again, notice the word American.

5

Wrong dummy. You say Nuclear hasn’t killed anyone? You remember Chernobyl? When in the hell have you been?

Rocks have souls, desert sands have souls etc. I have a feeling it’s right – our surround is a living, diverse godly body, worthy of respect, whether we can find a heart or not. Perhaps developed man ought not feel he can take charge of or destroy places. Re: there are no obvious permissions- why should we think we can rather than not? Similarly splitting atoms- doesn’t it feel disrespectful to you? Even a superstitious belief – god gave sun, only he can do that, may even be right.

Feelings are only feelings, but perhaps can point to something more than that. Perhaps.

I suppose it may be like aboriginal people – a different culture altogether – not only having awareness that organic non-animal life have souls (all those trees we take for granted can be felled for wood today when alternatives for a good percentage exist), but also mountains. >

Blessedwrath, you’re right, I just don’t know. And right also – what I wrote is emotive & seems not much to do with being rational, deductive or “sensible” as we may be encouraged to be in our culture in a way thought of as being adult.

But we humans have feelings. And, you know, where does it say that we’re supposed to take discovered building blocks of life & split them in half for example, whatever naturally happens on the sun or even here?

9

Leco, you use exactly the logic you protest. You say Christo is only spouting Pro-Nuclear Propoganda, and yet your own words spotlight you as “I just don’t like it. I don’t have a reason, it’s just wrong”.

Anything that can be done can be done safely, with the proper precautions. To say that there is always a risk is an obvious inclusion with any power source; even solar. The circuits could break down and cause an electrical fire.

You “just don’t know”.

10

They don’t allow you foulmouthed ignorant people??? to actualy breed?

11

With nuclear you simply don’t know. That means every time someone supports it as safe, it’s just propoganda for nuclear power. Nuclear power is very, very dangerous indeed. Christo930, you point out the lack of statistics for death in U.S., which, if correct, can’t be disagreed with. But people all over the world living near nuclear stations have been getting sick & born with deformity for years. With nuclear, you don’t know. Power whose legacy can sicken & kill over 1/2 a million years later.

12

Have you ever accidentally started a fire with these things? Burnt yourself? Can you show yourself doing something useful with them?
Can you use these to improve the output of solar cells? Can you put an IR filter on it to remove the heat to make the solar cells generate more electricity without heating up the cells?

13

Nuclear is very safe, far more safe than coal. Not one person in the history of American Nuclear energy has been killed because of it. Miners die every single year.

14

This is fucking awesome !! Great for cooking some stuff !

15

Very true, but if people like Green Power Sceince weren’t doing just this, there would be no focus at all. It means interest is created & chances of businessmen doing something is higher. It’s just like that. We live in a monetary system that supports debt and pollution from fossil fuels or threatening, unsafe energy such as nuclear. That’s what the businessmen support. They’re not nice – blinkered. There is always the potential for nice businessmen. See Zeitgeist Addendum zeitgeistmovie . com

Just in case you have not absorbed my comments at all, as appears the case, it is a waste of time holding up elementary stuuf like this, without taking it somewhere & showing something usaful, rather than wasting everyone elses time, like you you total retard,

17

use your imagination retard. if you dont think heat can be used for anything usefull, then you should get your school money back

18

What an ignorant maggot you are. The whole purpose of anyone posting something like this is to show something new and useful, not present something like yourself; totally useless!

19

O.K. Numbnuts ! One gets sick to death of seeing these (elementary) projects held up, frequently as something new, which they are not, and instead of doing something cute & environmentally sensible, all they do is burn bits of wood. So you ask yourself; WHAT THE HELL IS THE USE OF IT??????

20

So dont stand there :)

21

it doesn’t work that way, the light never lines up, it just converges. it’s only focused at one distance

22

I was wondering. If you were to use sunlight coming from a fresnel lense and bounce it off a mirror, could you redirect the same energy to a distant location? Think of it as a home made laser if you want

23

What about a optic device to make the sun shine parallel again, after concentrated.?? So the concentreted energy could be reflected to a desireable target like a furnace.

A few years for most acrylics. Some of these were really abused for testing UV

25

How many hours in the sun before the fresnel lenses go foggy?
