Dan, did you start using fresnel because regular magnifying glasses are just not powerful enough? At 0:25 I just couldn’t help but think of you as a child frying the helpless ants with one of these
btw.. I’m moving back to the desert soon and will definitely be using some of your ideas for heating during the winter or heating water in the summer. Maybe some solar grilling.. mmm

@TheDudeRulez09 it was supposed to be “GreenPowerScience” the smoke effect does not complete the letters properly, so I added the fire letters.

@ bottomlands
wow bottomlands wow…
think of the energy saving abilities this has
the applications for heating, melting, etc.
that’s just the lens itself, with the sheet metal someone could idk heat a pan from the bottom instead of the top of the pan
and an unlimited source of energy we have (the sun)
(for the smart asses) our sun will likely not do anything drastic anytime soon

So you magnify the sun and make wood smoke, and that is science how?

Looks like that spider at 2:15 was trying to get out of there.

I’m still waiting for you to complete that big satellite dish all the way around to make a “death star” beam. That dish fully covered with that new reflective steel…..wow. Hey, will that steel flex enough to mold onto a Dishtv small dish? If so, I might order a small section.
