I love you guys

Are there restrictions on how close the cold and hot sides have to be to each other? I’m sure there would be some heat lost, but if you put the hot side on your roof, the cold side in your water well or in the ground and connect them by an insulated pipe, you could get a wild temperature differential with which to run your motor.

They are on YouTube. I dont have a link.

the ones that i saw produce ALOT more power..but they use concentrated like…you tube first isreal solar farm…do you have a link to the ones your talking about?

No they need only ordinary sunlight, just like other panels. THe difference is in the choice of materials comprising the panels, and their Geometry. Solar is now competetive with all forms of energy, and with bakns of ultracaps or storage-cells, makes the GRID obsolete.

sorry..i didnt fully read your post, i saw 75% and thought you meant 75% effiecient, not 65% more power than currently availbile…
the problem with the israeli panels is you need the giant mirrors to concentrate the light.

It is common knowledge to anyone that keeps up with current developments in technology. And online; go check it out, if you are not too lazy…

got any proof of that?

the 15% is for the car as a hole. any tech needs to haul more than just cargo and passengers. IE wasted energy is spent on moving it.
the most efficient car out there found a innovative way to change it’s input/output. by reducing the weight of the car the efficiency loss plummets. using carbon fiber instead of steel they reduce weight and reduce the size of the engine needed with out decreasing strength or size of the car as a whole.

Cars have 15% effiency(gas cars that is)

Awesome video.

Newest generation of solar panels designed in Israel (lots of Sun in Israel) have the highest efficiency yet, 75% more energy output that the old solar panels! There is NO energy crisis.

jeez thats cool
January 9th, 2010 at 4:31 pm
Awesome! I love green energy!

Solar panel efficiency is different. The only thing being wasted is the sun’s energy, which won’t run out before we’re all gone from Earth. This is as close to free energy as it gets!

um the tech isn’t efficient. it takes a lot of sunlight to melt a little sand then there is the problem with heating the mold and tempering the glass. now the regolith on the moon is a good candidate but again not for solar. it takes specific frequency to melt it well. but there is a plan to make a high powered microwave generator to form radio telescopes out of craters on the moon.

30% efficiency? k I’ll put my money on newer solar-panels.
January 9th, 2010 at 7:00 pm
Currently I am on fire.
January 9th, 2010 at 7:53 pm
And the wind….That would be an issue…
January 9th, 2010 at 8:50 pm
north america? what about the rest of the world honey?
January 9th, 2010 at 9:16 pm
excellent idea, Ascension. though its been suggested before, i think they should use this technique on the moon and mars to make zero input glaziers.
also, they dont allow things like this because lobbyists using primitive and expensive techniques would go out of business.

You know I think green peace might be lazy.. I submitted the idea in 2003 to create giant sun powered glass blowers for deserts to make glass & create giant dome green houses and water canals!! What’s next? Instant Glass houses by lightening superheating sand in a giant house moulds (C) 2009 By Kurt Nielsen

This could be used NOW in real veicles?
January 9th, 2010 at 10:57 pm
Awesome! I love science! Really interesting video! 5/5!

Spot of concentrated light will always run away from the motion of the sun
