Description:

Numerous cars were damaged by trees uprooted by strong winds in the east Slovakian capital of Kosice. Transport was affected in both countries by upturned trees that blocked rail lines and roads. Thousands of people were left without electricity in the western Bohemia region when falling trees brought down power lines.
