Description:
Heavy snowfall and unusually cold weather in several countries across Europe have brought major airports, vehicular and rail transport almost to a standstill. In Germany, in some areas snow depth has reached upto 60 cm. Schools have been shut down in northern German towns. Local meteorologists say that cold weather will last until the end of the week. According to weather forecasts the cold weather will intensify towards Thursday frost, and the temperature may fall below 10 degrees Celsius.
