I was so happy to see these books on recycled paper! It’s about time! This book isn’t a story, as much as it is tips about how kids can be environmentally responsible, as told by Dora and her friends. I bought this book for my niece because she loves Dora, but I ended up reading it to my son too, who is not such a Dora fan. He enjoyed it; the book is educational and he was interested anyway. I hope they make a Diego edition. There are tips that kids can use (like don’t open the fridge and stand there looking; wait and decide what you want and then open the door to save electricity.) It was a nice vehicle for talking about the earth and being green. I am going to buy more of these “green” books to read to my son’s preschool class on Earth Day.
