Do You Think That All These Predictions That Have Been Made by Nostradamus and Others Are Crap?
ByLogically speaking,
there is no way to see/predict the far future like people like Nostradamus did.

Are 2012 conspiracy theories “crap”?
Absolutely. Just like Y2K and all the numerous other doomsday predictions prior.

Yep, that’s about right. Nostradamus’s writings are so vague that they can be (and have been) used to “predict” just about anything. I’ve found that, generally speaking, when someone invokes a Nostradamus prediction, the thing they’re trying to convince people of is baseless. That is, I’ve found that a person using Nostradamus for support is usually doing so because they don’t have anything solid to offer in support of their argument.

Yes, absolutely and utterly crap.
Just in the past 11 years, from 1998 to 2009, there have been 56, yes you read correctly, 56, different doomsday predictions, all of which, obviously, have failed to come true.
Dec 21, 2012 is just another one. And, when nothing happens, the conspiracy theorists will say that the world will actually end a little bit later, probably sometime in 2020 this time.

Nostradamus’ predictions are so vague and cryptic its impossible to know what he was predicting (until after the fact of course, when believers “re-interpret” or “re-evaluate” his quatrains to discover that lo and behold he did predict that thing that happened).
Logically, there is no way to see or predict the future.

Well, considering some of their greatest predictions were made posthumously, I think it’s quite clear it’s a load of bullocks. (I cite the 9/11 quatrain that was written in 2001 after the disaster by someone just passing it around the internet.)
You may want to read up on phenomenon like Cold Reading, and scattershot predictions. You’d be amazed at how similar those things work.
As soon as you ask them to make a specific statement (the ones still around who say they can predict the future), they try to get out of it, or they are wrong.

Yes. It is impossible to predict the future with accuracy.
March 19th, 2010 at 5:05 pm
Yes. They’re complete and utter bollocks. Just look at Nostradamuses verses for yourself, you’d get more sense from reading the back of a cereal packet.

I don’t think Nostradamus’ predictions are crap. I *know* they are crap.

What predictions? Have you ever actually read Nostradamus? His stuff is so vague that it could mean just about anything. If it means anything at all.
There isn’t a single case of a Nostradamus “prediction” panning out. Only after major events do people come along and say “Look what he predicted!” And lots of those after-the-fact “predictions” are modern forgeries anyway.

100% CRAP…
