This video introduces you to the people of Mars Hill ME who are being driven from their homes due to wind turbine noise. UPC Wind installed 28 1.5 MW turbines within 2600 feet of where these families live. The problem of noise developed almost immediately after the turbines were turned on.
Dryer Motor Converted to Axial Flux Alternator(Generator)

Used stator of dryer motor (ripped and stripped) and put back together. Rotor is N42 neomagnets – this is only one phase as only one bridge recifier on hand. Meter measuring dc volts for the one phase connected to lcd light. I Will post three phase and connection to backyard wind turbine in near future. This is aa quick and dirty power source that works to gen power on the cheap. tl;dr it works.
