@tardiojoe Randi is an even bigger ego freak than Angel. His two heros were Houdini and Dunninger, he imitated Houdini to get publicity as Houdini did with his debunking of the mediums. And he got his idea for the monetary offer from Dunninger. Randi never had an original idea in his life. He used Uri to get publicity what he didn’t expect was for Uri to sue him. Lost all the money he got from that society to defend himself, cost him many thousands in attorney fees. Poetic justice I say.

@skepticslayer1234 True. Angle has about the biggest ego I have ever witnessed! The problem we have as believers is finding motive from the so-called skeptics.(usually cynics) I feel I have a very good understanding on the reasons for UFO secrecy, mis and dis information, etc., but I have less of an understanding why people like Randi would want to supress the truth about psychics, etc. Lets face it, Geller is was phony… it is hard to deny that. With him being at the top b4, Randi has ammo…

@tardiojoe Angel has a tremendous ego, in this business you have to be prepared to deal with that. As for Randi and his agenda, why did he an CSICOP feel it was necessary to lie, commit fraud, and defame Gauquelins name, that you should ask Randi, I have no idea why anyone should lie about anything. As for psychic stuff and convincing people, that is easy, people want to believe. Not to say some ESP experiences aren’t real either, just because it hasn’t happened to you.

@skepticslayer1234 I asked Steve about what happened. It was a long story, but he said that the end of it was that Criss was upset that he did a magazine interview/biography, and only mentioned Criss in one paragraph. Criss thought Steve made him look like a puppet. Steve had planned to quit anyway.
Partly I mean he can convince people that he is a psychic, (he did and I can too) but we have no psychic ability (that we know of).
I will read STARBABY. What is his agenda? What to gain?

@tardiojoe I always knew Randi is a phony so on a dare I decided to test his testing procedure. Because I had read STARBABY by Rawlins which exposed Randi and CSICOP as frauds when they set out to debunk the Gauquelin astrology research and instead validated the research. Angered they committed fraud and falsified the results to fit their agenda. You can read all about it on the net. just google STRABABY by Rawlins. Randi lied then and he about our test as well.

@tardiojoe Steve Shaw is Banachek’s real name, we both were members of the Psychic Entertainers Association, I dropped out because I didn’t want to belong to any club that had Banacheck in it. He is a puppet for Randi, convincing only because he is sure he is right and the world is wrong, brainwashed and narrow minded are better words for him.. Why do you think Criss Angel fired him, Banacheck is a back stabber, not much different than Randi. I had a ET experience at 17 not doubt they are real.

@skepticslayer1234 Knowing for certain that ET visitation is a fact has changed my life, so finding proof that his challenge is a fraud would change a lot more! I am looking for proof that other paranormal things do take place, and that Randi’s challenge is a lie and distraction to keep people thinking “Well, no one has claimed the million, so psychics, etc. can’t possibly exist” as I used to…
I recently met Banachek, and he is very convincing, I must say.

@skepticslayer1234 Okay. Now that is the honest reason I’m looking for! I went for years being a skeptic/parrot for Randi on any issue considered paranormal, etc. After being convinced of the ET reality, I began to question other areas in which he started to seem more cynical rather than skeptical. I hear more and more people say what you say about his dishonesty. I’m starting to get more and more convinced that it is true that he does not test fairly. Will you say what area you deal with?

@tardiojoe Sorry pal but you are the one who knows not he speaks of. I’ve known Randi for over 30 years, he runs from me because he lied to weasel out my getting his million. I have offered him or anyone else ten thousand dollars if I can’t prove he lied. My calling him a hunchback is meant to hurt him because he lied about me to hurt me. Put up false photo shopped pictures meant to defame me. If you want to let people run all over you be my guest, but fuck with me and I punch back hard.

For years Randi lied about his sexuality, if he lied about that then he would lie about other things such as how dishonest he is about his publicity stunt million dollars. How he lied to weasel out of testing those he knows could win the million. I really don’t give a damn if it discredits me, if I am a bigot I am an honest bigot ! And I really don’t give a damn how many magicians you know either, that comment is irrelevant.

I am saying “Who gives a damn!” That has nothing to do with the fact that he is wrong about the UFO subject, and is a pointless area of arguement. I don’t know you, but I am willing to bet I know more about magic and magician’s opinions than you. I know P&T so you don’t need to tell me what they believe or don’t believe.

It’s not logic at all. You are just saying that you can shout people down. That can not “destroy” an idea or opinion.
So just answer the question, how does someone’s height affect their credibility in a discussion of UFOs? Think on that for a while and maybe you will realize that what you are saying is meaningless. Your posts are the equivilent of a child yelling “nuh-uh.”

@skepticslayer1234 It is bad logic and not considered a proper argument. What you are doing is attacking the man, known as an ad hominum attack. What does a man’s hieght have to do with the facts? Nothing. Such things have no substance & no place in a serious discusion.
Also, if you are going to call someone names and then go on to accuse them of namecalling, that is an obviously hypocritical thing to do. If you really want to slay skeptics, take the high road. Refute them with logic.
