Myth makers of old told better stories. Oops! 0m35s The electromagnetic radiation struck us eight minutes after the flare occured. Basically, exactly when this video was filmed.

Even though massive solar flares hit the earth before, we didn’t rely on electronics back then. Just knock down the internet if just for a few days & the world as we know it will come to a screeching halt. Banking will become impossible. I-Phones will be nothing more than cute paperweights. Powergrids can & will be adversly affected (Québec had a massive power failure due to a flare back in the 80s-took them 24 hrs to get back.)
