“1999 RQ36″ As dubbed by NASA is heading for Earth! Well, scientists have said the asteroid, which is 560m across, could pass very closely or hit us! It could wipe out a city the size of London, if it hit. I’m not trying to scare people, just inform. Yes my video is “dramatic” but that is my style so…sorry if that infuriates you. According to the European Union Times dated January 6, 2011 www.eutimes.net NASA: Approaching space object ‘artificial, not asteroid’ Posted by EU Times on Jan 6th, 2011 Not actually an asteroid, according to NASA, but artificial. NASA authorities report that an unknown object approaching the Earth from deep space is almost certainly artificial in origin rather than being an asteroid. Object 2010 KQ was detected by the Catalina Sky Survey in Arizona earlier this month, and subsequently tracked by NASA’s asteroid-watching service, the Near-Earth Object Program headquartered at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California. Observations by astronomer SJ Bus, using the NASA-sponsored Infrared Telescope Facility in Mauna Kea, Hawaii, indicate that 2010 KQ’s spectral characteristics do not match any of the known asteroid types, and the object’s absolute magnitude (28.9) suggests it is only a few meters in size. The mysterious artificial object has apparently made a close pass by the Earth, coming in almost to the distance of the Moon’s orbit, and is now headed away again into the interplanetary void. The object has used no propulsion during the time NASA has had it under observation. @GrimGrim55 theres many theories about 2012, who knows what will happen, we just have to wait. but it is weird how all the relgious books predict this time frame. dont get me wrong, i dont by into this doomsday stuf even tough i do find death intriguing, but maybe 2012 is just a shift from our old ways of thought and spirituality into another way. who knows, all i know is that when or if the day comes that sh it is going down and the earth is doomed i will besittin back enjoying my beer n joint

I get the feeling from all these weird reports that something bad is going to happen to our planet and that these are sort of hints that there will be some weird devastation in some form. Why would they keep bringing out chicken little to say the sky is falling all the time.
Maybe the governments screwed something up and they are hinting that the masses need to be prepared for what they have done. Why? because there would be no concern about space debris that will burn up in our atmosphere

Buzz Aldrin confirmed this artifical asteroid a long time ago in one of his interviews. He said the Russains tried to send a drone to land on it and it got destroyed. The video is somewhere on Youtube.

The title is a bit deceptive. I agree with another commenter that NASA would most certainly know what the object is, without question. Given the fact that with current technology, we can see objects billions of light years away, it would only stand to reason we could see every square inch of an object ‘in our back yard’…

i get so pissed whenever nasa ‘announces’ something. they’ve only going ‘beyond’ the stars since the late 40′s….pretty sure they know exactly what this is. lol. how they are so perplexed and unknowing is such a joke.
