@ebrobaru Well, yes and no. I take the side closer to yes because religion plays a HUGE role in psychological influence. In general, Earth religions are far more open to Psychic ability and encourage Psychic growth than Judaism or Christianity, for example. Of course, you don’t have to be a Pagan to be a Psychic, but I’ve found that many orthodox religions are very wary around Psychic abilities, sometimes thinking that the person has ‘demons inside them’.
@celticbattleaxe You areconfusing two different things. Religiona nd psychics are different things. Different cams that is. Peopla that have retained their “psychic” ability just can´t show it for some reason
You guys who say this is stupid are just ignorant. And for those who say, “I don’t see indigo around them”, it’s the people who are more spiritually evolved who can see the shade around them.
Great, another reason for regular parents to think their ordinary children are so especial and somehow better than the rest… How come noone see this trend as the new kind of racism?
@sunchild94 …all evil being ‘come from hell’. It is really sad that we have conditioned ourselves to forget our abilities.
Good thing there are people who aren’t so closed-minded around here . I was getting worried that I’d be the only one.
@sunchild94 I completely agree with you. That’s the problem with society and many people nowadays. Anything paranormal people label as ‘superstition’ (as you pointed out). That is sad. Gosh it pains me to see parents not accepting that their child is Psychic and then punish their child for just saying “there’s a spirit in my room”. Too many people are scared out of their minds that something exists beyond their thinking. It’s the same way with people thinking that spirits are …
@ebrobaru This s why, perhaps, that people are starting to reverse this situation and welcome Psychic behavior. People are leaving the confined areas of conventional thinking and entering new levels of consciousness. There is a HUGE spike in Earth religions for the same reason. And that is the great part about this generation of people – we are accepting possibility and being open to what we don’t know. We aren’t continuing to repress Psychic ability much anymore.
@ebrobaru But that is the reason why so many of us are not as ‘in tune’ as people who have retained their Psychic ability. It’s because we were conditioned to repress it, ignore it, and forget all about it. Or worse, we associate being Psychic with punishment (if we received it in the past). Mostly, people are are scared of it – it defies thinking and logic.
But conditioning throughout our lifetime has taught us to forget who we are.
@ebrobaru Sure, there are people who retain their Psychic ability, or have it re-opened; either by a near-death-experience or some other traumatic event. People such as Paul Elder (I LOVE his works) have regained their Psychic ability through a traumatic event. If you wish, you can purchase one of his books, called “Eyes of an Angel” for further info – it’s a great book, highly recommended.
@ebrobaru Why, for example, are so many people frightened by spirits haunting their house? Same reason. By continually repressing the even slightest possibility that something exists beyond our thinking, we condition ourselves to block it. We say things like “spirits don’t exist” to the extreme of punishing a child because he/she said that he/she just saw a spirit and-or communicated with it. In truth, we are ALL Psychics, as I explained in my past comments.
@ebrobaru It’s just like Houdini busting all the fake psychics and mediums he could fine – does this mean that there are no real Psychics and Mediums in the world? Certainly not, as I explained in my last comments. Essentially, Crystals, Indigos, and Star Children are a type of Psychic person.
The problem in this society is that we doubt EVERYTHING paranormal – why? Because we are SCARED of it. Why? It defies what we were conditioned to believe by society, parental influences, etc.
@ebrobaru I have no idea why, other than because it is a specific part in Psychology. Most schools rather teach Psychology itself so you can then go to a school which teaches Parapsych, and then specialize in that.
From what I have been taught, this is not “wishful thinking” and “fake”. Yeah, there may be some stupid kids whose parents want them to be “special” by calling them ‘Crystal Children’, or ‘Indigo’. But this is NOT to say that real Crystals and Indigos don’t exist.
@celticbattleaxe Yeah, few colleges give that, don´t you wonder why?If you are majoring in Psychology you must be aware of all the fakes and wishful thinking there is to this theme
..And everyone just believes in the things that the government and the media want us to believe. they’re so brainwashed in the system that anything that contradicts the ‘common beliefs’ is called ‘superstition’ or ‘bullshit’.
People are always so closed minded to things like this…how the hell are we supposto progress as humans if we can’t accept the existence of supernatural things like this? we are constantly discovering new things in this universe that seem so incredible and weird. We are ‘only human’ and theres so much more to life than we know. so keep your mind open.
