The leftist greenies just don’t get it. People shouldn’t have to put up with the strobe affect of blade flicker and attendant noise , nor should they have to move away, they were there before the wind towers It is a documented fact that wind towers have a variety of serious adverse affects on people, and livestock. It is a problem that needs to be addressed, not swept under the carpet in the name of the “environment”.

Some years ago, I used to operate a very noisy wind machine.
.
It sounded like a blender.
I used to worry about what the neighbours would think. When I asked, they replied that they actually liked the sound. They thought it was kinda cool
My present machines operate in near silence. Practice makes perfect.
It’s really is a pity that windmill haters do not have any workable alternatives to offer us.

Oh yes, these wind turbines are so loud you can hardly hear your footsteps and wheels in the gravel on the road
There are always people you for a buck, and from the bottom of my heart, I sincerely believe that most if not all who complains about wind turbines, live next to old ones, or only want to earn big bucks in compensation, at the cost of the wind farm owners.
If modern wind farms bother people, they will be bothered by mice farting in their neighbours house too.

im a wind turbine technician and i personally think the media is blowing it out of proportion i believe there might be a low frequency noise created by the generator and possibly the gear box but i also think some people are over reacting and just making them selfs believe either that they have symptoms or just blaming unrelated symptoms on them. also if you have ever lived in a windy place like southern Alberta headaches and aches happen because of pressure changes in the weather.

The noise from wind turbines is low frequency noise. It may not sound “noisy” to you, but to your inner ear it can be very disruptive and cause health problems.
