To clarify something I told “surgcare”:
The whole subject of the so-called “Galactic Equator” is an embarrassment to “debunkers” of 2012. I explain this in my video

The term “Galactic Equator” is a misnomer. It’s just an artificial reference plane defined by the IAU. It passes through the Sun by definition, so the Sun never “crosses” it. But contrary to what debunkers say, it’s not “arbitrary”, either.

@surgcare Please watch my “Galactic Equator” video. The so-called “Galactic Equator” was defined by the IAU in 1959 as a reference plane for a Galactic coordinate system. That definition hasn’t been changed. The “Galactic Plane” is different. Unlike you, I provide references for people to check this themselves.
You have failed (again) to provide a NASA source for your “26,000 years” claim. Instead, you’ve made yet another unsupporteded claim: the “Second Sun”. Nice try. Now I’m done with you.

You’re not. . Believe what you like because its time and we will find out soon.No need to argue what will be proven very soon . @JimSmithInChiapas The “solar system never crosses the galactic equator ” ,thats a profoundly ignorant statement . . IAU reference 1959 thats brilliant . Its 2011 .We have learned a lot more since 1959 .If thats the best you can do , give it up . If you want to believe the earth is flat , so be it . You did not answer my question about the visability of a second sun .You can’t answer because you do not know . The 2012 phenonem is more about spiritual enlightenment then physics .

@surgcare Actually, the Solar System *never* crosses the Galactic Equator. The Galactic Equator and the Galactic Plane are not the same thing. I explain this in my video “Correction: The Galactic Equator’s NOT “Arbitrary”, and it’s not the Galaxy’s equator”. I provide the original IAU reference from 1959. I defy you to provide any NASA source for a *26,000-year* oscillation about the Galactic Plane, because (as I’ve already explained) that claim of yours is simply false.

@JimSmithInChiapas I thought the discussion was ended .There are multiple site through out the internet including NASA which shows that the solar system travel around the galaxy in a sine way crossing the galactic eqauter every 26000 years .This is fact .If your lttle mind can’t accept this thats your fault . There are many videos showing what appears to be a second sun (so what is it?) but its not . Its the center of the galaxy . You people just can’t accept the truth . Paul La Violette

@surgcare I note that you cannot provide any substantiation for your claim about the Sun crossing the Galactic Plane every 26,000 years. Instead of admitting that that claim is baseless, you’re now making the additional baseless accusation that I’m ignorant and/or dishonest. A typical sleazy tactic that I’ve seen many times from 2012 con artists.
You’ve had your chance to back up your claims, and have failed miserably. I rest my case.

@surgcare I *have* checked the science. Astronomers’ best estimate is that the Sun crossed the Galactic Plane about 3 million years ago, and won’t cross it again for another 30 million. See references to the astronomers’ work at 2012Hoaxdotorg’s “Galactic Plane” page. I’m not interested in discussing this with people who make irresponsible, unsupported assertions, so unless you can provide high-quality references for your “26,000 years” claim, consider this discussion ended.

@surgcare In my videos, I provide the information necessary (times, dates, etc.) for people to check everything themselves. Also, please check the extensively documented web pages at 2012hoaxdotorg regarding the Galactic Plane. (See first last link in the Description of the present video.) You’ll find out there that the Sun does NOT cross the Galactic Plane every 26,000 years, and won’t do so within a million years of 2012. The people at 2012Hoax will be happy to debate this issue there.

This video is nonsense . The solar system or sun moves in a sine wave motion around the galactic center which takes 240 million yrs . The relevance is that the galactic plane is crossed by the sun every 26000 yrs .This fairly thin plane is important because it contains an electromagnetic field that shapes the galaxy and effects earth and all planets including the sun .As we cross this plane wormwood or hopi blue star kachina will become visable .You can see it now . Keep your head in the sand

1. Search the web for “John Major Jenkins”
2. In the results, look for the article from the “2012hoax”. (probably 1st page.)
3. In the table of contents at the top of the 2012hoax article, look for the link on high-end “2012 tourism”.

Hopefully after 2012 the true and real Quetzalcoatls will remove the Trustfund Elite who currently get all the false honors and are not prophets at all. Those who currently are able to get published are agents of the power structure, and are certainly not artists of the Quetzalcoatl lineage. They are only rich people who are able to travel continuously in order to distribute stolen information from the real Quetzalcoatls.
