2012 & North Pole Expedition Doctor of Physics, Brooks Agnew discussed possible cataclysms that may occur around 2012, and offered an update on his planned North Pole Inner Earth Expedition. The current timetable is to embark on the expedition in August 2009, traveling to the Arctic region aboard a nuclear powered icebreaker. A helicopter and ship stored in the icebreaker will be used to advance scout for a hole that might exist in the curvature of the crust, he detailed. Agnew said ancient Mesoamericans described visits from the ‘Shining Ones’– possible ETs, who may have given them the knowledge of astronomy, architecture and agriculture. One of the Mayans’ complex calendrical systems ends in 2012, coinciding with the Earth aligning with a black hole in the center of the galaxy, he outlined. This positioning will cause planets to heat up in the solar system, and potentially wreak havoc with our climate, he said. The polor shift has nothing to do with anything, mabey a couple things But it will not effect much at all. If anything the sun will burn out like a light bulb just like it states in the bible. The truth is we the earth rotates around the sun and well its our only light source so if thease flares keep going on there is a reason for it, A light flickers before it burns out and this is the closest reason why our world is being effected.This is my opinion.

What has the Government EVER done for you? No Really!!! If this world is changing like many people believe, then you cant have enough H2O, food, shelter, that is pointless. We dont know where these things are going to happen. What if you are at work when shit hits the fan? How like you get your survival kit then? How much can you carry on your back, and for how long? Can you swim with all that crap on? The world is going crazy with something it has no control! Head for Clouds & BE FREE!! lol!!!

Rofl I love how everyone thinks that the world is going to end. If you actually CAN read the language, and you know how to translate that calender…it LITERALLY says “Time of Celebration” and “maturity of the earth” -_-’. It’s the earths birthday…However, I love how no one thinks about the obvious, maybe the reason the world is going to end is because of us? So much panic and fear, maybe we’re going to loot and pillage, and possibly do something stupid, after all we’re a destructive race.

@jowdan101 No, its days. Four days to be exact as we just had one that reached earth last thursday. It was set off on Sunday/monday. The northern lights were seen on thursday night in many places.

The Government won’t tell us anything it’s quite obvious. They keep so many secrets from us, and if a big event like this were to happen people will die from various things the flare, food shortage, etc. They won’t be able save us all, and if they speak out on this, people will panic. I’m not trying to be all negative about the government but that’s how they are, they rather save themselves than help the people, only giving hints what is to come and the people who chooses to listen survives. imo

that a bit true doe, the only reasons it dosent work is because must toillet give an artificial spin to the water, if you look at the spining of the water going out of a bath, you will see that it does work, but you are right, it as noting to do with magnetic field, but only on geographic pole and axe of rotation (it is call the coriolis effect)

Yes the MAGNETIC north and south pole could shift, and did it like 400 time in the past but that have nothing to do with geographic pole, witch is the up and down of the axe of rotation of heart that simply NEVER reverse ans that will not reverse
the coriolis effect is what influence wind and spin of water, and it is not affecteur by magnet

Some people need a class in the magnetospere weather and solar radiation. Hit the books for 2 yrs and then say the magnetospere has nothing to do with weather etc.. It has everything to do with it!! Plus these comments are coming from people who do not study anything but the latest jackass videos and when thats over they get bored and try to state facts they have no clue about. I disagree…these things don’t happen within that short amount of time. Nature has shown us that these things happen over large periods of time. In other words, it’s already here. It’s been reversing slowly the whole time. Now, they will try to “make” a catastrophe like they’ve been doing and messing with the weather to cover up the fact that there are no more seasons like it was in the beginning. Only summer and fall/spring like weather. That’s it.

@istvanklein The magnetic field is weakening, as is its pattern before it stops and goes the other way, changing the poles. Here in Alaska we are getting the warmest weather in recorded history and the weakest magnetic field readings. So yes, if you affect the Jet stream, you affect the weather. We are also now getting huge auroras. The sun is starting to now get much more active.

Now that’s one big pile of rubbish. Weather patterns have nothing to do with Earth’s magnetic field and where the poles are. They are driven by the rotation of the Earth around its axis and by the regional differences in the level of solar heating. And that water draining from a tub in Australia is moving clockwise while it is moving the other way round in the northern hemisphere is an old myth, it’ not true.

No, not the way the earth is now BUT if u were to push up all the low places & push down the high places so that the earth is smooth it would be covered with miles of water! The bible says that the mtns arose & the valleys went down! After the flood! Just some info I thought I’d throw out there because I hear that argument all the time!

@Thisisnotmyrealname8 LOL noahs ark was a BOAT it wasnt the REASON at all, it was the solution.. plus, scientists have proven there isnt actually enough water on the planet to flood all the land.. even if all the ice melts, the water level wont rise because ice displaces the exact same amount of water as it would in liquid form, dont believe me? go get a glass of water, fill it with ice cubes, so the glass is full literally to the brim, wait for the ice to melt, and i GUARANTEE it wont overflow

Well, I can’t find anywhere that this guy has a “real” Ph.D….only degrees in electronic engineering and chemistry (don’t know what level). He said in this section that 300 mph is “about twice the speed of a tornado”….Uh, NO! Tornadoes combine terrifyingly powerful wind speeds — 300350 mph, maybe even 550 mph .”…Wonder what else he is clueless about…
